For months, Americans have made clear their desire for commonsense, cost-saving health care reform. However, Harry Reid ignored the public and arrogantly crafted a partisan bill behind closed doors. After 2,074 pages, this bill does not even meet the basic goal that the American people had in mind - to lower costs. Unfortunately, this bill actually makes the situation worse by increasing premiums, raising taxes, and cutting Medicare.
