- KYTrey: Good legislative day as our 3 bills that will reduce red tape for businesses & our 2 bills improving elections passed out of committee.
- KYTrey: Visited HQ of Vision Motor Cars which plans to build plug-in electric cars in Whitley Co in near future. http://www.visionmotorcars.com.
- KYTrey: At 13th Region finals watching Corbin & North Laurel play for trip to Sweet 16. North Laurel is coached by my old Dixie teammate Jim Conway.
- KYTrey: Just had lunch with Kate at her elementary school. Had chicken sandwiches, corn, applesauce & milk. I was the only boy at the table.
- KYTrey: Just finished recording KSR podcast. Had a lot of fun talking UK basketball and politics, two of my favorite topics, with @KYSportsRadio.
Grayson Announces Statewide Finance Committee

Trey Grayson announced today that he has formed a finance committee to help him raise funds and earn additional support around the Commonwealth for his U.S. Senate exploratory committee. The list of members of this initial finance committee can be seen on Grayson’s blog.
“This is an impressive list of Kentuckians. It’s geographically diverse, and it’s representative of the solid base of support we’re finding for a run for U.S. Senate. I’m grateful to these men and women who’ve agreed to play an active role in our effort by helping us raise funds and reach out to their networks for support,” said Grayson.
Grayson Finance Committee member Matt Thornton commented, “Trey Grayson has done a spectacular job as our Secretary of State. There’s no one who would do a better job as our next United States Senator. I’m thrilled to be on Trey’s team and will be working hard to help get him elected.”
Secretary of State Trey Grayson filed papers with the Federal Election Commission on May 6th establishing a committee to explore a race for U.S. Senate.
